Sounds Like Haven

welcome

We invite you into our magical place, our blog, to rest and to enjoy the passing of time with us.

February Fun :)

Some snippets of our time in Korea in February :) Mary's birthday month, miss you Mary!

Chim Chim head bubble: "I will sniff you because you are very interesting to me, but you may not get too close to me without my permission, it's the princess' way."

Sesh has a big head, big enough for visitors lol

Time to explore like Mary!

Hmmm...Bonnie always seems to have trouble keeping up lol

Justin: "This is slippery" Chim Chim: "This is FANTASTIC!"

"We are so tired from hiking so much, let's just take a rest on this frozen waterfall."

Chim Chim: "I'll come help you climb, I'm very good with this ice stuff!"

"Woohoo! I love sliding around! My paws are like natural ice skates!"

Of course Sesh took the plung, even though it's literally freezing water. Chim Chim stands by and watches in a mixture of curiosity and suspicion. Chim Chim likes frozen water for treading upon, Sesh likes liquid water for treading in.

"We're scoping the place out looking for wild critter!"

Out in nature, inspired by Mary, on her birthday here in Korea in her honor. :)

"Hi, I'm Survivor Sesh, how may I be of service to you?"

Sesh's big black nose turns white when it snows :) The white blob in the picture is a snowflake.

Chim Chim LOVES to bury her head in the snow! She loves to sniff everything anywhere!

Sesh LOVES to run through the snow! And he doesn't get too wet! He has a magic coat that dries in a few minutes.

Winter Wonderland outside our apartment. See the sea in the background? It was snowy most days this month.

A closer view of the sea, this is also right out our window, glancing a few inches left of the above picture.

The hills right behind our apt. :) I love this picture, I'm good at taking pictures right? lol

Highway to Heaven lol :) or actually a snow covered bridge over a lake, early in the morning, on the way to GILI.

A pink purse for Mary! Mary this is for you (it's a cake from Baskin Robins).

"We spread our paws wide for Carrot Time"
"Why, you may ask?"

"To make sure we get all the flying carrot pieces...yes...but more importantly, to claim our territory! This is carrot territory!"

"Don't mess with my carrot."

"We take carrots very seriously in these parts."

Bonnie got to be a very special guest at her Korean best friend's wedding.

Bonnie gave a speech, full of tears, and was given the wedding bouquet because she's the bride's best friend. They don't have "maids of honor" here but she was the equivalent.
