Motorcycle Fun

Welcome to the FuN and WaCkY tales of Justin and Bonnie on Motorcycles!

Justin dreamed of having a motorcycle for years and Bonnie never thought of it in her life! Justin started talking about it more often while they were in Korea and then early one morning while in India Bonnie woke up and said: "Let's get a bike today"... and so it began

Our first motorcycle! The one Justin learned to drive on and Bonnie learned to ride on. A Royal Enfield 250 cc.

A driver's eye view and perhaps more importantly, proof that Bonnie was there. Look in the rearview mirror...

The bike brought us to great adventures! That's the Ganges behind us. We rode along beside it often. And then a few months later on a different bike we rode along beside the Pacific Ocean.

We went through rain and mud and more mud and more rain and we perservered and made it to shelter after trudging through the magnificent Himalayas! That's right! Ain't no mountain high enough, ain't no cliff steep enough, ain't no mud deep enough to keep us from coming through!

Ahh the natural beauty all around us..."No, Justin I'm not talking about me, I'm referring to the Ganges below and the Himalayan peaks all around!"

A closer look...ya we're stopping for a quick bite...naan and peanut butter, Bonnie's come along way in her food preparation since then lol

On the road again...and sometimes we wear each other's clothes...Bonnie's blue sweatshirt on Justin and Justin's orange sweatshirt on Bonnie...these things aren't planned, they're just randomly grabbed and randomly inserted as information for your reading pleasure on this blog

During a long trip to Delhi the dirt in the air decided to stay with us.

And on that trip to Delhi this is what we had on the bike with us...ah huh...there's a gong in that blue suitcase...next to those other FOUR pieces of luggage...how many people do you know who can say that??? Exactly. Now you know our claim to fame; we'll be contacing Guinness to be in their book.

The man in the front has NO IDEA what the lady in the back does sometimes. After that trip to Delhi Bonnie bought some super stylish scarves; you'll be seeing them on all the hot biker babes next season.
No, we didn't just rob a bank. We went through a McDonald's drive-thru on a motorcycle.

There's something about this picture that makes Bonnie scream HOT! It's biker calendar worthy no doubt.

Justin driving our new bike for the first time! My Dad let us drive there with his car so I drove away from the bike shop also in my dear Dad's car (now my nephew Aaron's car).

The day we bought our cruiser! Poopsie...what was it called????

:) :) :) :) :) :) :)

The happiest people on the road! People in passing cars could testify to Bonnie's flailing arms of glee. What better service than making people smile and wave while driving lol.

Born to be wild...

Born to look cute and fashionable on the back of a bike lol

Going up the beautiful California coast.

Sometimes the helmets come off...but never while riding, Justin won't drive Bonnie without one.

The cool uncle :) Justin with his older brother Chris, Chris's wife Chelane, and their fun kids Michael, Jace and Luke.

All the boys

Justin takes Michael for his first motorcyle ride! He loved it!

Wanna see magic? Watch Justin the Magnificent Bike Packer! Bonnie always got to enjoy every aspect of the ride. Justin packed the bike, drove the bike, fueled the bike, serviced the bike, and made sure Bonnie was always safe and cozy on the back of the bike.

We got it for just $6,000 and sold it for that too! We miss it but we are soooo thankful for our fun with it and how God blessed us with a wonderful buyer who was blessed by getting the bike. We look forward to our next one! They seem to be getting better each time!

Woof Woof

Hello people! I'm soooo happy to meet you all because you're people and I LOVE people! I would come onto your lap right now through this screen if I could! I LOVE everyone as though they are the greatest thing to ever appear before my eyes and my body will wiggle all up and down to prove it! I'm a female Cocker Spaniel, a year old in October 2009 and my name is Chim Chim.

Hi I'm Sesh! I'm a male Golden Retriever born in January 2009. I joined the family on Mommy's birthday, March 27, 2009. If you ask me to sit I'll sit. If you want me to find Mom or Dad, even if they are hiding in the closet, I'll do that too. I'll try my hardest to please you with everything I do! I'll even take your shoes to you, even if you don't ask me to!

Chim Chim's favorite thing: in physical contact with someone ALWAYS

Sesh's favorite thing: WATER, WATER, WATER...anything in the family of H2O

Going for bike rides is the best! Dad holds us because it's a bit tricky for Mom. Sometimes though Mom likes to go zoom down hills and have the dogs come running after, that's a favorite for us all!

Boating is so much fun! Chim Chim guides us on our way and Sesh is always ready to fetch anything in the water (unless he decides to take a nap).

We LOVE rollerblading!

We LOVE riding in the car! Chim Chim immediately goes to her self-claimed spot on the back ledge and Sesh looks out the windows.

We really like playing with Dad! He'll chase Chim Chim around and she has so much fun sliding all over the floor trying to escape him. He'll tackle Sesh and Sesh discovers what's it's like to be Chim Chim on the receiving end of Sesh's tackles.

The beach? Did someone say beach? Or fetch? Or both?!?! We're coming!

String? What string? Why would we want to play with a string? We're too busy playing with something down here...

Dad takes us to the most beautiful spots!

Happy girls

Are we cute or what? :)

The happy family :) This is the day we got Sesh, 3/27/09, right when we got Sesh, we're at the vet. in Seoul where the breeder delivered him to us. He wanted to be with us from the very start.

Our Mountains 15 minutes away from home

Seoraksan National Park

Justin happy for playtime

Bonnie striking a pose...or something like that

Cable Car ride, woohoo!

All lovey-dovey on the mountain top! :)

The peak! Proudly displaying a Korean flag.

Justin goes out exploring...he's just a bit more daring than some

Awww a waterfall!

Uniquely South Korea

They have some of the most creative looking cakes here!

There are several fast food places with tweaked menus to fit Korean appetites.

It's common to see people of all ages wear masks when they are sick.

Our favorite thing to eat these days: for about 8 bucks, or 10,000 won we get all this food that is more than enough for two people. The best part is the country-style kimchi next to the tofu.

You know how we're told to wear long sleeves and hats to protect our skin from the damaging rays of the sun? Well in Korea they actually do it.

It's very common for people to sell things on the streets, especially food.

The artwork on the temples can be quite beautiful.

Paper lanterns on display at a temple. They line the city streets for buddha's birthday in May.

See, lanterns are put up along the public streets.

One of many buildings on the palace grounds of an old king. It's surrounded by a lake that freezes in the winter.

Signing in for a Korean wedding. Here there are no gift tables, only money tables. You put money in an envelope with your name on it, no cards even. In America couples might feel rude asking for only money from wedding guests but here it's the only gift given at weddings.

Dr. Fish: they eat your dead skin and you get a beauty treatment :)

Bibimbap! Our favorite Korean dish: rice on the bottom and veggies on top.

Harley cop bikes, a regular four-door economy cop car, and a police officer in the back directing traffic. Here police keep their flashing lights ALWAYS on (except when the car is turned off). Regular motorcylists can have the same motorbikes and even flashing lights on their bikes so distinguishing a regular dude from a police officer on a motorcycle can be tricky.

Corn Dogs anyone? Regular? Strawberry covered? Chocolate covered?
